The Mt. Zion Baptist Church founded in 1893, has a long and rich history of active community involvement throughout Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and Luzerne County
Founded as a predominantly African American congregation, it exists today as a multi-cultural family of believers whose objective is to rise up and build the ministry that God has assigned to it by and through the enabling Power, Wisdom and Vision of the Holy Spirit.
Our Vision:
By Integrating the use of Modern Technology, in collaboration with Practical Bible Teaching, Reliable Leadership, and a Commitment to Hospitality, We Aim to Facilitate Worship Services and Ministries, in which all people are brought within full view of God, as well as His Purpose and Plan for Their Lives.
